The Dino Opera is an original story about family, adversity, co-existence, and dinosaurs, while Rapunzel is based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale of the same name. Both operas were written by local Canadian composers Michaela Chiste and Dylan Langan. Filled with humour and joy, both of these operas were written specifically for the modern audience.

Vera Causa Opera prides itself on creating operas which inspire and engage new audiences, break down the formal traditions of opera, and allow for anyone to be involved on-stage in the productions.
