From Mammoths to Paradise

With Bob Burtt

This lecture addresses the First Nations People, the early European settlers they interacted with, and the wealthy Americans who assembled the 900-plus acres of land that rare Charitable Research Reserve now sits on. It focuses on the history of the land, the people who occupied it in the centuries since the mastodon and mammoth roamed the area, and how a committed group of residents came together to keep the land free from development and available to the public.
