FAMOUS MEN: FORGOTTEN WOMEN - UNSUNG HEROINES

What were women doing when their famous husbands were changing history? Do we even know? The answer is yes! Some became social and political activists, while others ran businesses or became doctors. One housed those who had nowhere else to go. Many made history, while others helped to preserve it. Historian Joanna Rickert-Hall takes us out of the kitchen, past the boardroom, and into the world of forgotten women who helped shape the community we know today. $5 plus HST.
