Local historian, Lary Turner, who runs the Hespeler Heritage Centre, joins us for an interesting talk about Hespeler’s Dominion Woollens & Worsted Company's recruitment of single, young girls from Northern Ontario and Newfoundland to replace male textile workers that had enlisted during World War 2 (and later).
